SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE – SEASON 2
DRIVING ENGAGEMENT AND ACCELERATING CHANGE
Vivre en Ville is launching the second season of its Community of Practice on Sustainable Mobility, aimed at elected officials and professionals who support and develop active and public transportation projects.
A massive shift toward sustainable modes of transportation—such as walking, cycling, and public transit—is now essential. These modes are more economically and universally accessible than driving, support physically active lifestyles, and help reduce our carbon footprint. To achieve this shift, we need to spark a movement across Quebec and support one another so that every elected official and professional becomes a driver of engagement and change in mobility.
Following a first season focused on the social acceptability of sustainable mobility transformations, the community will continue to explore engagement strategies while broadening its focus to include challenges related to infrastructure implementation and user adoption.
